Vegan cupcakes haphazardly made by S for blogger potluck/white elephant, powdered sugared by M.

Difficulty: 1.2 out of 5
Presentation: 2.2 out of 5 (this picture was taken after the cupcakes had been rolling around in the Pyrex like the fat people on the spaceship in WALL-E for several hours)
Edibility: 4 out of 5 (nice texture, and the cupcakes are half sugar, anyway)

Cupcakes with chocolate chips, made by M and S because we are too cheap to turn our heater on, so we bake and leave the oven door open afterward instead.

Difficulty: 1 out of 5
Presentation: 3 out of 5 (We thought the chocolate chips would sink to the bottom of the batter. Apparently not.)

Shockingly spicy curry, of the destroy-your-taste-buds variety, made by M (with help from K and V).

Difficulty: TBA
Presentation: 3 out of 5
Edibility: 3.6 out of 5 (only because it was so spicy we all needed milk and ice cream to soothe our burning mouths... so spicy that K rinsed it with water and it was still so spicy it hurt... so spicy that we ate the leftovers instead of turning on the heater... otherwise I would have given this a 4)

Soup with broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes, leftover celery and chicken, pork, corn, onions, leftover rice, and liberal doses of soy sauce, parsley, salt, and pepper, made by S because she was too hungry to wait for someone else to cook. Pardon the really blurry, indoor light-tinted pictures.

11.09.09

Epic sausage and vegetable pot pie made from scratch by K and S. And by epic I mean really epic. Six different vegetables including potatoes, cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, onions, celery. Crust combined by hand.

3 differenty types of potatoes.

The vegetables barely fit into the pot.

Chicken pineapple sausage.

The crust took ages to mix and flatten since we don't have a rolling pin or food processor.

Ha, the filling was quite filling.
