Berkeley Bowl had a whole box of strawberries for $0.59! Granted, they were very ripe, but they were perfect to use in baking. Made by M and K.

Cupcakes with chocolate chips, made by M and S because we are too cheap to turn our heater on, so we bake and leave the oven door open afterward instead.

Difficulty: 1 out of 5
Presentation: 3 out of 5 (We thought the chocolate chips would sink to the bottom of the batter. Apparently not.)

09.29.09

Made by M and S. Because it's midterm week, we have been withdrawing from our grocery supply without replenishing it, which is an unsustainable practice. Thus, we thought we had nothing to eat and ended up making Kraft Mac & Cheese noodles with Alfredo and Ragu sauce (separately), and sliced apples with peanut butter and chocolate chips.

Our fruit knife matched the apple.

Difficulty: 0.5 out of 5

Edibility:
3 out of 5 (surprisingly satisfying for such a snack-y meal, although the noodles were strangely chewy)
